V3-575T-7008 RAM upgrade question

This laptop comes with 8 gigs of ram, documentation States it will accept up to 16 gigs of RAM and has two slots for the RAM.

Does anyone know if the 8 gigs that comes with the laptop fills up both slots(4gb ea) or does it come with 8 gigs in one slot, leaving one slot open ?
