VN7-592G usb charging port issue with external drives
Hi,
I bought at the beginning of the year an ACER VN7-592G under Windows 10.
I'm very happy with my purchase and the laptop is working perfectly except for a "little" annoyance :
when I connect an external drive to the usb charging port (the one on the right side near the RJ45 port), I cannot eject it. The drive is recognized and working perfectly. The problem is that it's considered as an internal drive, not an external one and that's the reason I do not have the eject option.
Generally, I use that port for my external optical drive or for an MTP device but if I could access all my ports completely it would be perfect. I have different external drives and the problem is the same for all.
I looked at the bios options but could not find anything relevant. Does anyone have any idea on how to solve this ?

Laptop lagging in games can anyone help me, I've tried everything
Well as the title says, laptop is lagging....I play bf4 60 fps and suddenly it starts freezing and lagging and the show goes on for 15 seconds and everything goes back to normal....happens every minute.....I'm trying to update bios but in support it says windows 10 64, while I got windows 8.1 64 bit .....anybody got an idea what this could be? ....I know it's not heat, the temperatures are good, I have 4 gigs of ram not optimal for gaming I know but that still shouldn't be causing this much lag so I don't know, feeling kinda desperate here....

Keyboard replacement on V15 V5-591G
Hi Guys,
I'm planning to buy an Acer V15 V5-591G from Germany and have a friend bring it over to me (I live in Israel). Problem is that German computers come with a QWERTZ layout keyboard, and Israeli computers use a US style QWERTY layout with the Hebrew characters added.
Is it possible to change the keyboard only, or would this mean changing the entire uper part of the casing? Also, this particular model laptop is not for sale here - is there a HE keyboard for it, or is the part maybe used in other laptops that are for sale here?

Acer Care Recovery - There was en error resetting your PC
I'm having an issue using the Acer Recovery on my VN7-592G. It's got a 1TB HDD and a 512GB SSD, and the SSD is where Windows 10 is located. I need to delete all files on both drives, and re-install a fresh copy of Windows 10 back onto the SSD. The Acer Care Recovery app is giving me this message after I select to delete all files - 'There was an error resetting your PC. No changes have been made.' Hilariously, it offers no explanation as to what the error is, so I'm completely at a loss. Any thoughts?

Windows Anniversary Update - Aspire V5-561G-6407
OK so my laptop doesn't appear to be on Acer's list of supported laptops for the Anniversary update (which I realized after trying to install unsuccessfully 10 times). My question is, so now I just have to defer and avoid this update until the next one, which hopefully will work for my machine? Or is there some kind of hope that I can get this update installed on my machine in the future?

Acer Aspire V5-552P-X617 Gets Extremely Hot To Touch And Shuts Off Randomly
I own an Acer Aspire V5-552P-X617 and i do play some games on it. Most of the time it handles games such as: CS:GO, G-Mod, Rocket League, and Kerbal Space Program. The computer is about 2 years old and I have never really had a problem like this before about June of this year. The CPU takes on some load and I play the game for about a half hour and the fans spin up really fast. This then plateaus and the computer then clicks off. This has been happening a lot recently and the ambient temperature of the room is about 10 degrees farenheit.

Acer 792G Grainy Screen
Hello, I have recently purchased Acer 792g 75X0 model, which had very grainy screen and it just bothered me.
I decided to ask for replacement and took other model hoping that it wont have this problem. I took 792g 79KG.
However, this one also has grainy screen.
Do all acer 792gs have grainy matte display ?

computer turns off when moved on battery power (Aspire V)
Hi,
My battery seems to hold a charge very well. However, the problem is when I try to move my laptop on battery power; it suddnely turns off. It also shuts down when jostled or bumped. The battery is great when the laptop is stationary. I noticed this problem when I move from one class to another: The Aspire V works great during class, but the moment I shut it and put it in my backpack it shurts down and I need to reboot it for the next class.
The laptop is great when it is plugged in.
This seems like a hardware issue but I don't know what to do.

Acer V5-591G-588D,Windows 10, Atheros QCA61x4a kills wifi in the whole house

I just bough a TP LINK TL WR841ND router and all the other devices in the house work just fine on it. I tried speedtesting with 2 different laptops, and mobile phones and they all worked great. The problem I encounter is when I'm using b/g/n mode on my laptop and i do a speedtest, when i get to the uploading part it just starts a bit and then the speed goes down and so is the network connection on all the other devices, so basically when it starts uploading it kills the internet. I tried using several other drivers, updating the router's firmware but nothing seems to work and I don't really know what else I could do.
Any help would be greatly apreciated!

This seems to be machine specific, not related to the OS. However I don't know what happens in a Windows OS.
Has anyone else encountered this bug? Will a BIOS upgrade fix it?

Aspire vn7-591g Keyboard replacement
I have Acer Aspire VN7-591G. Red bull gor accidentally poured over its keyboard, which made some of the keys stop working. I know that I can't just replace the keyboard, I need to replace the whole upper case. So my question is: where can I get the upper case? Which online stores sell the genuine, certified parts for Acer Aspire Laptops, specifically the Aspire VN7-591G.

Acer Aspire V 1% available (plugged in, charging)
This started happening to me yesterday, and Im very unsure of what to do. I tried just leaving the computer plugged in but it stays at 1%. Sometimes I get an orange blinking light but thats when the laptop isn't plugged in and turned off? Any solutions besides replacing the battery? I want to leave that as a last resort.

Loud buzzing noise from my V5-131
My laptop - just over a year old now - began making this noise. I of course assume it may be the fan or hard drive? The noise started last night. When I turned on my laptop again this morning, I can actually feel it whirring with the noise.
I tried wmic command prompt and got back that the drive is ok. I don't know how reliable that is. I'm glad I did backup for recovery and drivers...but what steps should I take? I'm quite worried. Any suggestions are appreciated!
